3-Day London Itinerary: Must-Visit Spots & Tips

Updated: Apr 21

Here are some locations you should visit in London.

I’ve designed this as a 3-Day London Itinerary, but feel free to stay longer. Spending more time here means you can really take in the city’s one-of-a-kind vibe.

Quick tip before we dive in

Try to visit the top landmarks early in the morning (around 6–7 am). It’s much less crowded — perfect for photos and peaceful sightseeing.

St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel London

Day 1: Big Ben, London Eye, Buckingham Palace

You can buy tickets at the entrance, but it’s usually cheaper and faster to buy them online.

Current price: £29 for adults.

The London Eye isn’t just a big Ferris wheel — it gives you one of the best panoramic views of the entire city. Definitely worth timing your visit right to catch a clear day. So, plan your visit accordingly to make the most of this iconic London landmark.

Just a short walk from the London Eye (cross the bridge), Big Ben is another must-see. You can’t go inside, which is kind of a shame — but it’s perfect for photos.

For a classic British shot, grab a picture of Big Ben with a red phone booth in the foreground.

The chimes and gothic architecture are worth experiencing up close. Plus, you’re right by the Thames — more photo ops there.

Not really my favorite spot, but Buckingham Palace is an iconic part of any London visit.

It’s super close to other big attractions, so it's easy to fit into your itinerary.

This is where the King (or Queen) officially resides — and if you time it right, you might catch the Changing of the Guard, a unique mix of tradition and pageantry.

Day 2: British Museum, St Paul’s, Tower Bridge

This location is in the heart of Westminster. Adjacent to this square, you'll find the National Gallery, one of the most notable museums in London that you should definitely visit.

As an additional recommendation, especially if you're as much of a coffee enthusiast as I am, there's a particular coffee shop nearby that you might want to try.

Moreover, the square's location makes it a strategic starting point for exploring other landmarks such as the Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, and the vibrant West End theatre district.

Covent Garden is full of energy — restaurants, cafés, and plenty of spots to grab a bite.

I checked out the Transport Museum nearby, and honestly, it’s way cooler than it sounds. Great for kids too.

You’ll run into street performers everywhere — musicians, magicians, acrobats — it’s got a real fun vibe.

The British Museum has artifacts from all over the world — yeah, some of it’s controversial, but it’s fascinating stuff.

From mummies to ancient tablets, it’s wild how much history is packed into one place. Worth at least a walk-through.

I didn’t go deep on the history, but man — St. Paul’s is photogenic.

The inside is stunning, and it's totally Insta-worthy.

After your visit, take a walk across the Millennium Bridge for some great shots of the skyline.

After crossing the Millennium Bridge, head toward Tower Bridge via More London Place.

It’s a great walk, and you’ll get some awesome photo spots along the way.

Once you’re there, take your time walking around — this is a perfect way to wrap up Day 2. Time to chill after all that exploring.

Day 3: Camden, Regent Street, Nightlife

Snap the classic Platform 9¾ photo — yes, it’s cheesy, but hey, it’s part of the experience. What’s actually really cool is the Renaissance Hotel next door — total architectural gem. There is a ping McLaren front of the hotel its been there for 2 years. Go sell this info to the person which you are traveling with here is an article for you.

Is it a must-see? Not really. But if you’re nearby and curious, it’s worth a quick look. I worked here couple days. They’ve got solid Wi-Fi, so if you're a remote worker like me, it’s a good spot to camp out for a bit.

While you are walking from British lib to Camden you can use the walk next to the river. Just walk to this restaurant then to the camden town aaannndd yeay souvenirs. Buy all the souvenirs for your loved friends here. It has a restaurants and shops. Cool place to visit.

Camden town

I don't think you should walk from Camden to here. Take the train — and prepare to splurge a bit. Regent Street’s where you’ll find some of London’s priciest shops. You can find one of the most expensive stores here. At least you can check the stores from the street. I think this is end of the third day. You can travel however you want but I hope you enjoyed it. I want to add couple more locations like bars restaurants or mesuems you can check if you didnt like my locations.

I am not a huge fun of it. I mean look at the St Paul. However this is really close to the big ben so you can go and visit here as well.

Dinosaurs and all sorts of preserved animals — classic museum stuff. I went, and yeah, I kind of liked it. In the entrance you can snap a great pic at the entrance, though — that’s something.

You’ll stand with one foot in the Eastern Hemisphere and one in the Western. Fun little photo-op — then you’re on your way.

The Painted Hall is a must-see when you're in Greenwich, London. Known as the "Sistine Chapel of the UK". The artwork was done by Sir James Thornhill over 19 years, from 1707 to 1726. When you visit, you'll see scenes from British history and mythology. It's not just about the art though. The Hall is part of the Old Royal Naval College, which has a rich history itself. So, when you step into the Painted Hall, you're stepping into a piece of Britain's past. It's a beautiful and inspiring experience you shouldn't miss.

Restaurant in the soho. Nice burger. There is a huge line tho. Here is the link

One of the best bar/restaurnat in the London. Just go. Its next to the Kings cross.

You don’t have to dance — you can just enjoy the music and the crowd. Check their site to see who’s playing tonight.
