This is THE city for me. I love it and I will love it rest of my life. Best city in US for sure. I lived here for 6 years so I will have a couple pages about New York city. I can add couple hiking locations around the city as well but lets start in this page where you need to visit if you are visiting NYC.

Let's kick off with the iconic Times Square, an absolute must-see in New York City. Known as "The Crossroads of the World," Times Square is a bustling hub of activity, filled with bright neon advertisements, Broadway theaters, and big-name stores.
This vibrant heart of the city never sleeps, with its energy and lights persisting well into the night. Whether you're catching a Broadway show, shopping, or simply soaking in the lively atmosphere, a visit to Times Square is an essential part of the NYC experience.
Just a block away from Times Square, this park is a delightful spot all year round. In winter, the park transforms into a winter wonderland with ice skating and charming holiday shops. In summer, the park comes alive with outdoor movies, yoga classes, and more. You might even stumble upon a lively game of chess.
Plus, the New York Public Library, an architectural gem and one of the world's leading libraries, is right next door. Whether you're looking for a peaceful picnic spot, a fun outdoor activity, or a cultural exploration, Bryant Park has something for everyone.

Grand Central Terminal is much more than a transportation hub - it's a New York City landmark and a work of art. With its stunning Beaux-Arts architecture, celestial ceiling, and the iconic four-faced clock, it's one of the most beautiful and famous train stations in the world.

SoHo:
SoHo is a cool neighborhood in New York City. It's known for its fancy shops, art galleries, and trendy restaurants.
The streets of SoHo are lined with beautiful old buildings with large windows, called "cast-iron" buildings. Many of these buildings are now used as apartments or shops.
Pier 35 is a lovely spot in New York City. It's by the water and gives you a great view of the Brooklyn Bridge.

The Memorial has two big pools. They are in the spots where the Twin Towers used to be. Around the pools, you can see the names of all the people who died.
The Museum tells the story of what happened on 9/11. It has pictures, videos, and items from that day.

The Oculus at the World Trade Center is an amazing place in New York City. It's a big, white building that looks like a bird in flight. Inside the Oculus, there's a big shopping mall. You can find many stores and places to eat. There's also a big train station inside.

Brookfield Place also has a nice indoor area where you can sit and relax. And outside, there's a great view of the Hudson River.
So, if you like shopping, eating, and beautiful views, Brookfield Place is a good place to visit.

In New York City, there's a piece of the Berlin Wall. It's an important symbol of history. This piece of the wall is located at 520 Madison Avenue in the outdoor plaza.
The wall has graffiti on it, just like the original Berlin Wall did. The graffiti is colorful and makes the wall look like a piece of art.
Even though it's far from Berlin, this piece of the wall helps us remember the history and what the wall meant. It's a special spot to visit in New York City.
The Charging Bull is a famous statue in New York City. It's located in the Financial District, near Wall Street.
The bull is big and made of bronze. It looks like it's running, or "charging." That's how it got its name.
The bull is a symbol of strength and power. Many people believe that touching the bull's horns brings good luck.

The Fearless Girl is a special statue in New York City. It's located in the Financial District, not far from the Charging Bull statue.
The statue is of a young girl who is standing strong. She looks brave and ready to face anything. That's why she's called the "Fearless Girl".

The New York Stock Exchange, or NYSE, is an important place in New York City. It's where people buy and sell shares of companies.
It's located in the Financial District, on a famous street called Wall Street.

The Brooklyn Heights Promenade is a lovely walkway in Brooklyn, New York City. It's high up and gives you a great view of the city.
From the Promenade, you can see the Manhattan skyline, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge. It's a perfect spot for taking pictures.
DUMBO is a cool neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York City. DUMBO stands for "Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass," because it's located right under the bridge.
This area is known for its beautiful old brick buildings and cobblestone streets. There are many shops, restaurants, and art galleries to explore.
One of the best things about DUMBO is the view. You can see the Manhattan skyline and the Brooklyn Bridge. It's a great place for taking pictures.

The Brooklyn Bridge is a famous bridge in New York City. It connects Manhattan and Brooklyn over the East River.
The bridge is very old and is known for its large stone towers and steel cables. It's a symbol of New York City.
You can walk or bike across the bridge on a special path. From the bridge, you get a great view of the city and the water.

The Statue of Liberty is a must-see destination when you're in NYC. This iconic symbol of freedom and democracy was a gift from France to the United States in 1886. Over the years, it has welcomed millions of immigrants arriving by ship to start a new life in America.
You can purchase your tickets from the Liberty Island Ticket Sale Offices or online when you click here. Plan to spend around 3-4 hours for your visit. While the statue can be seen from Lower Manhattan, it appears quite small from that distance. Visiting the island itself offers a much more impressive and personal experience. While on the island, don't forget to visit the Statue of Liberty Museum.
